Brief Introduction
ACSR core wire is the certain high carbon steel wire with carbon content of 0.50%-0.85% in percentage especially used for aluminum conductor steel reinforcement cable in distribution and transmission of electricity. ACSR core wire is the hot dipped galvanized steel wire with heavy zinc coating (99.995% pure zinc), which have good performance of anti-corrosion against various environment in space and for years both.
ACSR core wire size chart is list as follows from thin steel wire size of 1.50mm up to thick steel wire size of 4.25mm. GALFAN, means “extraordinary galvanization”, is the new eutectic alloy composed of Zinc & 5%Aluminum & Rare-earth metal, which has been successfully applied for the updated patent technology by International Lead & Zinc Organization. GALFAN has definitely stronger corrosion resistance performance than traditional galvanization and it extends 2-3 times the coating service life than that of the latter. Secondly, GALFAN extremely promote ductility and variable performance with extra adhesive power with steel wire, therefore it can completely suffer the wrapping and bending test under any brute force. Thirdly, GALFAN has more superior welding property than that of traditional galvanization. Finally, GALFAN possesses particularly even layer on wire surface and it is just the excellent pretreatment base and painting adhesive compared with other galvanized layer, and so that any more material could be painted on the GALFAN satisfactorily. Due to above advantages, GALFAN coated wire should be the reliable alternative as ACSR core wire in the coming days.
